Gunstock Acres Trust Dog Rules 2023

At the Sandy Beach:

No dogs are permitted on the beach at any time.

At the lower parking lot, picnic and boat dock area:

Dogs are not permitted except to escort the dog, on a leash, to embark/disembark on a member’s boat.  Dogs are not allowed to swim off the dock or dinghy boat ramp.

While dogs can be man’s best friend, complaints about unruly dogs that threaten our members’ enjoyment of the beach area, and sometimes their physical safety requires this strict dog policy.  To note, GACPT rules with respect to dogs is consistent with local towns and state parks.

(exceptions made for service dogs trained to support people with disabilities, not comfort or emotional support animals)
