Gunstock acres common property trust members and guests

.
We love our little oasis of beach and water on Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoy sharing it with family, friends, and guests.  As a community of trust members, it’s up to us to preserve the beauty and cleanliness of the waterfront and recreation areas.  It is also our responsibility to protect each and every member’s safety and enjoyment while on the property.
.

Please abide by the following rules and guidelines when on the GACPT grounds and share our space responsibly:

  • No smoking allowed on the property.
  • No dogs allowed on the waterfront except to go from vehicle to boat and back again.  Dogs are to be on a leash at all times. Dogs should not be swimming in the boat dock area.
  • No running, jumping, or diving off the swim dock.
  • NEVER feed the ducks. We do not want to encourage ducks to linger near the beach. Duck itch is not fun!
  • Do not swim in the mooring field area, unless it it to your boat.  It is recommended that you stay within the swimming area buoys.
  • No swimming or fishing off the boat dock and no sunbathing on the boat dock.
  • Boat docking limited to15 minutes.
  • Do not leave kayaks or other small watercraft on or near the boat dock ramp.
  • Please use recycling and trash receptacles found in the beach area and by the boat dock.
  • Limit cars:  one pass = one car
  • Large group gatherings need pre-approval and are limited to member events.

Large Group Usage at the Beach

Any GACPT member wishing to have a large group at the beach, defined as a group of 15 or more family members or friends, should call one of the trustees at least two weeks in advance to reserve the date and to provide the name of the person who will responsible for the group. Cars for large groups should be parked in the upper level of the beach. Members of large groups are expected to be respectful of the other members when it comes to use of picnic tables, cooking grills, dock space, etc.

Company Picnics, etc.

Commercial use of the beach, such as for company picnics or gatherings, is not permitted without approval of the trustees, which approval will normally not be granted within the normal summer season.

Unruly Behavior

It goes without saying, unruly and disrespectful behavior at the beach is unacceptable and prohibited. Members should be aware that anyone who is asked to reduce or constrain their behavior that continues to be a problem will run the risk of losing their beach privileges in that the beach pass will be suspended for a time certain, as determined by the trustees.

Lost Passes

Members whose electronic fobs are lost or destroyed can obtain a replacement fob by submitting a request either via email or by calling our administrator, Lily Rausa, specifying the name and address of the pass holder. There will be a $50 fee for each replacement pass. Only two passes are permitted for each lot.
