Mooring Field Constraints:
The mooring field was approved by the State decades ago and laid out for vessel lengths between 19’ – 23’. The ability of the field to accommodate vessels greater than 23’ is limited. Please consider this when procuring a vessel you plan on putting on the field in
the future. If your boat is longer than 23’ you may not be able to capitalize on a mooring that becomes available to the person in the #1 spot on the waitlist because it’s too long for the mooring position that has become available. Boat lengths in the 19’-22’ range have the greatest opportunity of safely being accommodated when a mooring comes available.
